DVC Points at non-DVC Resort?

Hi All,

I'm looking into buying into DVC through a resale but I was curious to know if you can use DVC Points to book a stay at a non-DVC resort. For instance, can I use DVC Points at say Pop Century for a stay? If so, is there a chart that lists the point values per stay for each type of season? Any info would be great!!

You actually cannot use your points at Pop Century but you can use your points at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Port Orleans and others. Feel free to send an e-mail to sales@dvcstore.com and one of the associates will send you an email that shows you the points charts for all the resorts you can use the points besides the 10 DVC resorts.

Yes you can use points to stay at the moderate resortes and the deluxes that do not have a DVC resortes attached to it. As many will post, this is not the best way to use your points. For example, to stay at one of the moderate during the summer is 177 for a week. To stay at AKV it would be 135 for a savanna view.

In addition there will also be a $95 reservation charge to use DVC points at WDW moderate and Deluxe resorts. DVC points cannot be used at BWI, WL, BCV, AKV or CR. DVC points may not be used at Value Resorts.

BCV and AKV are DVC resorts... I believe you meant to sat BC Hotel proper and AK lodge.
