Ok so im not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I have book CBR with free dining from 15th to 22nd December with 9 day park tickets, I will be travelling to the world on the 11th December so am looking into renting DVC points for 4 days from the 11th to the 15th, and have a few questions about this.

If my tickets are linked to my CBR reservation can I make FPP from 60 days out from my DVC stay or would I need to purchase separate tickets for this stay?

Will Disney be able to transfer my luggage from one resort to the other?

I am still totally undecided on which DVC property to stay at and understand I may have trouble finding the exact one I want, ideally would like AKL value, do these book out quick?

Sorry for all the questions but Im sure Ill have plenty more ha,
Thanks in advance :-)

I only know about luggage transfers, since we haven't done that kind of split stay since pre-MBs. They've always transferred our luggage.

If you haven't booked that December AKV value villa yet, you are probably out of luck. They go very quickly at 11 months out. Plus the time you are seeking is a very popular time for members. You might be out of luck all around on those days.

You should be able to make for+ reservations for the whole trip, but you might not be able to actually use the tickets. Tickets purchased with a package can be activated up to three days prior to check-in. So, that first day might be a problem.

And, as already mentioned, the first two weeks of December is the busiest time of year for DVC reservations. Budget for a one-bedroom upgraded view room.

Move steps:
Have your items packed and ready for pickup.
On move day call Bell Services to come and pickup your items.
Tell Bell Services which items are to be keep cold and which frozen.
Go check-in to new resort and do whatever you have planned for the day.
When the room is ready and after @ 2-4 go to the room.
Call Bell Services of the check-in resort and they will deliver your items to the room.
You MUST be in the room for both the pickup and delivery (Tips expected).

You will be able to make reservations for the number of days on your ticket starting the day you have a reservation starting at Disney 60 days out. As mentioned above you can pick up tickets a maximum of 3 days ahead of time so you will not be able to get the package tickets until the 2nd day of your stay. If you do not have a DVC reservation booked yet you need to get one ASAP or you will be without DVC room available- many resorts are already booked up for studios- only SSR, AKL Kidani Savannah, and OKW have full studio availability for your dates and that could just be 1-2 rooms at each place, there are only a few resorts with full availability for 1 bedrooms right now either. You have really waited way too long for any of the really inexpensive DVC rooms for that time period, they book up at 11 months out for those weeks.
