DVC newbie... I think i'm confused about Kidani

We just bought into Kidani Village. They are opening ressies Aug. 10th for May 1st opening. My UY is Dec...... Can I still call Aug 10th for ressies?

Yes, Use Year has nothing to do with making reservations. As long as your points will be available for the dates you want for the reservation, you may call on August 10 and reserve. (Your points will go into your account on December 1 and will be available for stays after December 1 - so you will be fine for May 1 thru July 10 reservations.)
