I had the same opinion- but we go into NYC fairly often.
But if I lived somewhere else, I guess it would be the best way to see the "big, scary city"!!
I am glad they are selling them! Good for DVC, Good for ABD!
There was a lot of information left out on the flyer. When they announced it on the Member's Cruise we were told the following:
Breakfast at the Lion King
Get to go to the prop room at the New Amsterdam Theatre
Walking tour of Harlem with someone that lives there and ending up at the Apollo Theatre
Dinner at the Tenement Museum and guided tour
The backstage experience at GMA
Tour of NY on the Tour Bus with a side of windows
Walking tour of Central Park
Learn choreography to Newsies
Go to see Newsies
I called and found out the following:
Lunch one day is make your own pizza at a pizza place
Dinner one night is at a Famous Actor's restaurant (can't remember the name right now)
I think they are holding information back (as they usually do). The person I spoke to and found out about meals started to tell me something else and stopped. I asked her to repeat her information as I didn't hear the rest and she said she couldn't it was a surprise.
