I thought I would just see what would happen if I called at 8:45am. and was surprised that they were open before 9am. Apparently they opened at 8am for this today. A CM answered and assisted me in making a reservation for a party of 4 at the after hours bash on Feb. 25. She said we would be able to check in at either our resort (Bay Lake) or the MK. The confirmation number (CM said) is not linkable to our magic bands, but she suggested we add the number as a note to our MDE account. I'll probably email it to myself. She said the party starts at 9:30pm. When I asked her if it was true that we could go in the park as early as 7pm she said, "Yes, we really aren't telling people that, but if you already know that's fine and I can confirm that". She reminded me that I would need an i.d. and my DVC member card, but she did not take the actual names of anyone who may be going with me, only the total number. Looking forward to checking this out.

I was also able to get right through at 9:00 AM. The CM said I would be receiving an email confirmation, but I am still waiting for it.

I just tried to make reservations for the March 3rd party. The systems are down until at least 1pm. You can count on Disney to have computer failures!

I just reserved for Feb 25th. The CM told me about the party starting at 9:30 and that we could enter as early as 7PM. It can't really be a secret since the website provides that info. ;) For check-in I was only told at the front of MK.

I called just before 9am. I like that they had a special number set up.

As far as the 7pm entry goes, it's no secret, it says so right on the website.

They told me I would NOT receive an email confirmation and to write down the confirmation number and put it in the notes in my MDE account. Who knows? Not complaining really, though.

I forgot to say that I also was told no email confirmation. That's pretty typical for the special events. But I was given the confirmation number.

I just called in right before they closed and was still able to get a reservation for the Feb 25th one, so it looks like it hasn't filled up yet. I thought I had missed it by now, lol.

This is what I was told as well.

Ugh I completely forgot to call today. I'll have to try right away tomorrow

I would think this will remain open for awhile. They can handle a lot more people in the MK than they can for something like a movie preview with limited seats.

I was able to book yesterday afternoon, for 6 people as a local with no DVC reservation for the evening of Mar 3. I was told to put the reservation into MDE, when I tried to do so online, the reservation number would not take; had to call MDE and have it placed as a note within MDE. Our party is going to MK in two different groups, one group as pass-holders early to get in some FP rides, then the rest will join us at 7. Tried to set-up a FP for the entire group of 6 but the FP system will not allow us to do so, as this reservation is not being allowed to book FPs.

When I booked this I was given the impression that not all the Magic Kingdom would be open. Only a certain section and not all rides will be operating that night. Did anyone else get that when they booked?

I wonder what the cutoff number will be and will it be crazy crowded.

Any info on what and how many select attractions other than the hunted mansion or are we buying admission to a unknown?

According to what I read, it will be Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Hunted Mansion.

It says select attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland along with HM so it doesn't sound like all attractions. I did not ask when I reserved and don't know if the CM's would even know. It's a free event and we were planning on being at MK that evening anyway so I don't feel much of a concern over what is and isn't going to be open.
