DVC member benefits: Waterpark discount tickets

I've seen from the Membership benefits that the $45 tickets are only good through Oct 1, 2017. What are the chances of it getting extended? We are going in November 2017.

Also, how many discounted party tickets (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) can a member purchase?

Previously the water park ticket discount was only a few dollars per ticket ($3-4 I think). I would guess that once the current promotion is over (which I think was part of the 45th anniversary benefits).
For discounted MNSSHP/MVMCP tickets I think it was 6 per member. When they announce the dates/prices etc they will list the limit as well on the DVC member website

I have a feeling I know the answer, but if you buy the tickets at the DVC resort before Oct 1, 2017, can you use them anytime?

Do they sell the tickets at the resorts? If so maybe you can use it later. I thought you had to buy the tickets at the park.

Looks like you can; I'll be there in Sept and will check at OKW to see if there are must use by dates on the tickets.
