DVC meet 12/07/10 France Thanks to those who came!

I usually plan these farther ahead, but I've been busy, so I haven't been online as much as usual. If anyone is interested in a meet between Dec. 1 and Dec. 8th, chime in here and we'll see what we can do!

TIME AND LOCATION!!!
When: Tuesday December 7th 8:30 PM until after Illuminations
Where: France Pavilion between the wine stand and the crepe stand

I may very possibly be up for that! I've never done a meet before, so I don't know quite how to go about it, but it sounds fun!

Will be at Epcot for CP on 12/7.

I'll be there for my first trip 'home' Dec 4 - 12, but I'm kinda new here and don't know what a meet involves.

Are most of us Owner's Locker users? If so, we might just all plan to overlap at John's Epcot wine meet on Tuesday the 7th.

I was hoping for a Merry Members Mixer event again, but it looks like they aren't going to do that the first week this year, so that wont work. It looks like Dec. 7th gets the most people though, so can we at least nail down that date? We'll have a few days to figure out a time and place yet.

Other years we have used different DVC resorts as our meeting places....Usually the most recent. Since BLT isn't very open to visitors though, I don't see us doing it there.

In the past we have met at the golden spike room at VWL, The Gurgling Suitcase at OKW, Artist Pallet at SSR, the lobby of Jambo, and the library at Kidani.

As it happens, I am already planning on being in Epcot on the 7th - it's by birthday! Assuming the meeting time doesn't conflict with my dinner ADR or something my family has planned for me, I think that should work for me!

We need to plan a virtual meet for those of us who can't be there. Great thing about it, we can plan any sort of a trip we desire without worrying about points, money, passes etc. Now, do I want to book the non-existent GV unit in VWL or just go for our Kidani SV unit?

Oooh, at that point you could just as easily book the non-existant DVC GV unit at the Poly!! I mean, if you're going to do it, go all out!

Diane, thats what I was thinking, that would be a great idea. We actually had been planning to attend John's OL meet on the 7th anyway, so if we could make that a DIS meet, I think thats a great idea!
