We always stay in a studio at the BWV and I know the studios don't have the dvd player...but can one be rented or borrowed along with movies from the Community Hall building by the pool?

I don't think so - but ask just to be sure.

I think someone mentioned renting one at Blockbusters.

The studios did not get the new vcr/dvd combo they recently put into BWV? Our one bedroom had the new combo and I assumed all units received it at BWV.

to my knowledge (not the finally word by any means) - no studio has a VCR or DVD player in it.

the 1 bedroom and up have always had a VCR player - now I think they have both???

My thoughts exactly! And that's why I was wondering if anyone knew about DVD player rental/loaning from the Community Hall for those of us who stay in studio rooms but still want to be able to watch a DVD..........

There are no DVD or VCR machine rentals available through Community Hall.

You might want to post and ask for advice from anyone who has either rented or brought a machine from home. IIRC, there were some posts about this that said it was diffficult to hook the machines up to the TV due to the cabinet and the location of the jacks on the TVs. That may have changed, though.

Good luck!

It is indeed difficult, though not impossible, to hook up a VCR or DVD player to the TV in a studio. The TV cabinet is fastened to the wall so it doesn't move much, but the last (and only!) time we stayed in a studio at BWV I rented a VCR from the Blockbuster near Sea World and managed to hook it up to the TV.
