DVC June 11-30 - Is this a busy time of year

2009, of course. We are planning a big family trip and I think it might be a lot easier if we were closer to the parks, like BC, BW or WL. What do you think?

Yes, Florida schools let out usually the 1st week and that's the 1st place we head. I, however, think June is better than July, but that's my opinion. In the end, if you stay enough days and work out EMH am & pm and Fastpass, I don't think it really matters. Plan away! We are having our 3rd family reunion this June, 11 of us and in 35 days to WDW it is.

I like OKW, further away from the parks, for the simple reason that when I'm done park hopping, I want to get away from it and OKW is a wonderful tropic get away!

You have a whole year's worth of planning! Have Fun!

Just make sure you make your reservations at your home resort 11 months out to make sure you get something rather than be stuck not getting anything. Those resorts you picked are the smaller resorts and it might be tough to get VWL or BCV. Unless you book exactly at 7 months out day by day.

And get those family members to confirm so you don't get stuck with borrowed points and no one to stay in that villa. There are horror stories out there.
