I liken it to cable internet companies.... new customers always seem to get the better deals. They already have the current customers so they skimp on them. its sad, but it appears many companies do this. New people are treated "more valuable" than current customers
I gotcha, i just read the first line of the tread and saw "incentive to buy" and those two things were enough incentive for us to buy. which is why i originally posted. For us, the 185 (maintenance free points) equates to a free stay, and as AP holders, tickets are useless to us.
To me it's not incentive. It is what it is. It might be incentive to buy a certain UY depending on when I'm buying, but it's not anything special or anything a guide is giving me. It's your right to have those points.
