Here is some background. My husband has to go to Orlando for work in August and he is taking me and the 3 girls with him (ages 1, 2 and 6). We hate going in the summer time because of the heat and crowds, but since work will be paying for part of it and it is Disney World..........
So my question is, which DVC resort would you stay at (if you could choose from all of them) if we are going to spend a lot of time at the pools/resort? Thanks for your input!

I would definitely say Beach Club....because, it's my favorite and Stormalong Bay is AMAZING!!!

However, I do not have 3 small children, and some parents have complained that it is really hard to watch children of different ages in SAB.

So, my second choice would be VWL...the boat transportation to MK is wonderful, and the pool there is really nice, too.

But....BWV is really nice, too!! And, your 6 year-old might really like that slide.

Well....those are my choices (in order).

I'm sure you will get LOTS of other advice....enjoy wherever you stay!!!

Might be a moot point at this stage of the game, since August is not far away, and a lot of DVCs will be booked up for some room types. I think any of them would be fine, but if you aren't going to do parks, I would say SSR or OKW would be best for relaxation and solitude.

hey if work is paying for it - why use your points - go stay at the Polyn.... if that is too expensive for work then go with POR.

if you use your points I don't think work has to refund your money - nor is a tax deductible for work. I think.

Thanks for the responses. We have to have at least a one bedroom because of the number of kids we have. A studio won't work, even though 2 are small. I was thinking about BCV too or BWV. But, I guess it is going to be whatever we can get at this point. We are going to rent points from someone for this trip instead of using ours. We are going to use our points for our next visit in Jan. 2006.
