So, if I wanted to call MS and ask some questions before this is transferred over, will they talk to me with it being in Escrow? Or I should ask, at what point will they stop talking to me and my member number no longer mean anything? And, is my member number given to the buyer or my contract?

MS has no idea what the status is until it is recorded and done. They have nothing to do with your escrow.

Why are you calling them if you sold your contract? Talk to your broker.

I don’t know about the rest of your questions, but the buyer will not be given your membership number. The buyer’s contract number will not be the same as yours. If they already have a membership under the same UY and names, then the contract will be added to that membership and the contract number will be added under their master contract, with the master contract being #######.0 and addon contracts being #######.1, #######.2, etc.
