Can anyone help me find the DVC golf rates? The members' perks booklet just gives a vague "up to" a certain percentage which, if I remember, varies with time of day. However, I want the specific DVC rates. I've looked at the dvc members' site, the disneyworld site, and wdwgolf. I'm not saying that the rates aren't on any site I've checked-just that I can't find them. Can someone tell me where the specifics are?

Disney Vacation Club® Member Golf Discount
Disney Vacation Club Members receive up to 35% off the Walt Disney
World® Resort Guest golf rate at all Walt Disney World Resort 18-hole
golf courses. This offer provides the Member and up to three Guests with
special, discounted per-round pricing during all operating hours. The
discounted rates will remain in place from the first tee time each morning
until twilight rates begin at either 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m., depending on
the time of year. As an added benefit, Disney Vacation Club juniors (ages
17 and younger) can play for half price all day long! To receive these
discounts, Members must present their Disney Vacation Club Member ID.
Prices subject to seasonality and hours. Specific pricing available
at disneygolf.com/dvc.
Disney’s Palm, Magnolia, Lake Buena Vista,
and Osprey Ridge Golf Courses
NEW! Disney Vacation Club Members receive great discounts at the
Walt Disney World Resort golf courses every day. Savings are always
at least one-third off regular resort Guest morning rates, and continue
daily until specially discounted twilight and super-twilight rates become
available for Disney Vacation Club Members. No Golf Membership Card
or Golf Badge is needed—show your Disney Vacation Club Member ID
and save!
Disney Vacation Club Members may also bring up to three non-Members
for any tee time, with non-Members receiving the same Member discount.
Also NEW! Junior golfers, ages 17 and under, play at 50% off the regular
Disney Vacation Club Member daytime rate. And, there is a bonus for
supporting junior golf: when an adult brings one to three Junior golfers
to play, the adult gets a little something extra off the regular Member
daytime rate.
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
As a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can play Disney’s Oak Trail
walking-only golf course for just $20 per 9-hole round. The discounted
rate applies for a Member and up to three Guests and is valid during
all operating hours, including tee times before 10:00 a.m. As an added
benefit, junior golfers can play the course for just $14 per 9-hole round
when accompanied by a Disney Vacation Club Member.
Tee times are always subject to availability and pricing is subject to
change without notice.

Hope this helps! You no longer have to buy the Golf Membership. This is on the member site under perks.

The Disney courses are now controled by the Arnold Palmer Golf Management Co. That entity ultimately controls if you get a discount and how much. Since it took control, they no longer list exact DVC rates. You need to get the Disney resort guest rate for any particular season to estimate it. You can find those online at Disney's golf site: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/golf/course-rates/ The discount you get is close to 35% and usually a tad better than that. For example right now the Disney resort guest rate is $139 as we are currently in the highest cost season and the discounted rate is $89 which is a tad better than 35%. Note that the discount does not apply when any other discounts apply. For example, the rate goes down significantly in the afternoon and the DVC discount does not apply to lower that rate.

Also note that you cannot book tee times on line yet for DVC rates. You need to call, 1-407-WDW-Golf, and make the tee time

Does anyone know the current status of the rental club discount? I know we had something last year, but haven't seen anything about it in this thread yet, although from something I found it leads me to believe that may have ended the end of 2012. Thanks

in december, my friend received my DVC discounted club rentals, i bring my own. I cant remember what it was exactly but it was significantly cheaper. If you call the golf number, they will tell you the cost.

We had an AM tee time and received 35% off. I just had to show my card when we arrived. You also get a voucher for a free cab to and from the resort to course.

Yes, I read that. It was the vague phrase "up to" that had me wondering what the exact discount was, and does it vary depending on the time of day? If so, what/when?

Do you have an annual pass? Discount rates are much better, especially if you have a PAP.

DH does have a PAP. I just assumed the golf discounts were the same as for the AP, which doesn't beat what I think the DVC rates might be.

Go to the annual pass website. Select sports & recreation special offers. Click on special rates at the end of the golf segment. You will find a chart of rates for AP & PAP holders. Rates are good thru 5/27/13. PAP play Oak Trail free. Pull cart rental is $6. They have a "Tee Up To 18" option. Make a tee time at Oak Trail, & when you check in, and you can play on any of the 18 hole courses for $40 including golf cart if there's room My husband & I did this twice this past week. You can't beat that. Also other discount rates listed.
