DVC Fireworks Cruise or Dessert Party at Top of the World Lounge

We are considering either the DVC Fireworks Cruise or the Dessert Party at the Top of the World Lounge for a trip in March with my wife and twin 25 year old daughters. What do you think is a better event and better value? Thanks!

Never done either but have been to both California Grill and A Villian’s Lair for fireworks and was not impressed with the view. A Villian’s Lair was the better of the two of those but I’m thinking the cruise would be more ‘special’

My wife and I have done the member cruise twice and it was excellent both times. Well worth the cost. I've never done Villain's Lair because of the cost. I can't justify spending money just to have access to the Top of the World Lounge. I miss the days when you could just go up and have a drink before meandering out to watch the fireworks.

You can still go up without reserving wicked wind down … we did so last fall, got a table had drinks and could have ordered food off the menu if we chose. Even when the wicked wind down guests arrived we were not asked to leave our table … guess maybe it was a slow night
