DVC Ferry

We are staying at OKW in a couple of weeks, and I have never stayed there and have a question about the ferry. When we arrive, we want to go to DD, and eat dinner at House of Blues... where does the Ferry stop at DD? Is there more than one stop? I am trying to figure out how long the walk will be as we are bring elderly parents. Can I take a bus to DD too? I know there is a stop by Pleasure Island, didn't they delete the West side stop?

Ok, honestly I don't remember if they stop by the West Side or not. I do know they stop by the Marketplace and they make a stop at Saratoga.

As for the bus, yes they stop at Pleasure Island and no longer stop at the West side.

There are 2 guest docks serving DTD, one (as cobbler mentioned) is at Marketplace-right next to the Rainforest cafe. The other is basically besides House of Blues-serving West Side. There is no specific dock serving PI.

The ferry doesn't always stop at the Westside. You can check with the driver when you get on.

If it's not stopping at Westside, you can just take the ferry to SSR, and from there walk over to the Westside. The ferry stop is very near the pathway to the bridge that connects SSR with the pathway that comes from OKW to DD.(it's actually the golf cart/pedestrian bridge). Cross the bridge, then just follow the path along the water's edge. It connects to Westside between HoB and Cirque.

That would be a shorter walk than taking the ferry all the way to the Marketplace end of DD and from there walking all the way back to the Westside.
