Just curious if anyone else has done Dive Quest. What was your most and least favorite part? I did it twice last year and loved it.

I did it in May, as a Mother's Day present. My favorite part was being able to see and wave to my kids; after I got out, my daughter said, "Mommy, you were dressed up just like a scuba diver!!" I also enjoyed the tour, and the other divers I met. (Shoutout to Marie!)

What I liked least: I couldn't get my bearings about where I was supposed to be for the camera, so I missed out on one of the times everybody should have been in the video. Also, there was something anticlimactic about knowing exactly what we'd see, how many of each species they had. I guess I like being surprised by what I see in the wild.

All in all, though, it was a good time.

By the way, if you have a Disney VISA and DVC, ask which gives the bigger discount.

I just bookked a "dive" for Jan 4th and used my DVC membership (15%). The total cost came in around $147.00 . :goodvibes

We've done it twice now 10 years apart and like it much better now (assuming it hasn't changed again). The first time, we had to stick with the guide and only go where he led us. The second time, after some brief directions we were able to explore on our own which was much nicer.

My favorite part was also interacting with the kids on the outside of the glass.

We too have done the "dive" twice this year. We like the fact you can see so many varieties in one dive including interacting with that very illusive humanoid fish that always seems to be just out of reach but that is because they those, what are they called again, oh yeah, feet.

Our second dive was not as good as the first as they had the 2 larger sharks out of the tank for illness issues. But the turtles and other great attractions were there. I would say my least favorite part is having to do the picture thing in the dive bell, etc. Cool the first time but would rather more exploration time for repeaters. In all, a very fun way to explore the Living Seas. I like the old name better if you have not guessed BTW. :rotfl:

Another DVC DiveQuester here. I did mine about 4 years ago (i've been pregnant twice since then so no diving :guilty: ) and I loved it! I can't wait until my kids are older and I can do it and wave at them from the inside!

My favorite part was getting thumped in the head by a turtle's fin and my least favorite part was how short the actual dive was. I would certainly do it again!
