I've been a DVC Member since 2000 but haven't been to Disney since 2007, due to a divorce, but going Oct 3rd to 10th!! My question is are there any discounts for DVC members?? Meaning I see all theses promos on tv for Free Dining Plan, Free Park Tickets etc etc but it seems like it's never for DVC Members....it's not like DVC members are staying for free. Just curious. And I'm aware of the Disney Perks.

Thanks!

There are no free dining promos for DVC members if that's what you're asking. DVC is a timeshare so no, they wouldn't typically offer a promo to get you to book, they already have your money. You can purchase the TIW card as a DVC member.

There is a 10% merchandise discount, and some discounts at restaurants (I think). But other than that, I can't think of any other "discounts".

There is an Annual Pass discount. No discount on other passes.

Free dining requires a full price room purchase, plus a minimum 2 day tickets. DVC is a discounted room. As an example - I had a BWV studio last November, could have got free dining by paying over $400 a night. Or use 15 points and pay for dining. They aren't going to give you free dining for 15 points a night.

Here's a link to the Perks list on the DVC member website. https://dvc.disney.go.com/members/member-extras/perks-and-discounts

The best deal the AP discount and the Tables in Wonderland discount. Although all discounts can be changed at any time.

Oh BTW, the current free dining offer requires that you buy a 7 day park ticket plus 6 nights at a cash Disney hotel.

Package Includes

6-night non-discounted room stay
7-day non-discounted theme park ticket
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (if you book a select Value Resort) or Disney Dining Plan (if you book a select Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort)

If you haven't been since 2007, you are in for a couple of shocks. One is the cost of theme park tickets, and the other is the cost of dining onsite. Both have skyrocketed in the last few years.

The AP and TiW discounts will help, but you will still see quite a difference from your last visit.
