DVC Discounted MNSSHP Tickets

Can DVC members purchase MNSSHP tickets with the DVC discount for other people or must the DVC member be present? I am renting some of my points, and the renters are interested in attending the party. I wasn't sure of the rules.

They are only available on certain dates. We have purchased them (non discounted tickets) and printed out the email ticket or voucher. I am sure they need your DVC number to process the discounted sale but once ticket is in hand they do not ask to see any identification to my knowledge in the park.

We have never been lucky enough to be there for discounted dates.

The official policy is the DVC Member must be present and show their Member ID Card to pick up the Special Event tickets. They do not mail them out, the are will call only.

Yes that is what we had to do.

To the OP, they can buy them advance by going online, or when they arrive.
