DVC discount

We're planning a June 2008 trip after a 4-day cruise. Planning to stay 9 days at our home resort OKW. We don't have enough points (need 99) and based on when the 4-day cruise ends, we have no choice but to be there over 2 weekends. I have a neighbor who is willing to transfer points to my account at the going rate, but I'm thinking it may be cheaper to just book the 2 extra days with the 25% DVC discount and link the reservation to the 7 days we would be staying w/points. Anyone have an idea what the rate might end up being for June for a 2-bedroom?

I don;t think the 2008 rates hae been released yet. The 2007 Rack Rate for an OKW 2 bedroom for June is $610, with DVC discount $457.50

another option may be to check out universal for Thurs, Friday and Saturday, then check into DVC on Sunday? Just an idea to save points, pay less and visit something different????
