DVC Dining Plan Prices

Hey all,

I'm renting/buying some points from a DVC member and an interested in learning more about the Dining Plan option. Can someone point me in the direction of where I could find the pricing? Most of the website I find have and Dining Plan PLUS prices where it looks like the price includes lodging, base ticket and dining. All I need is how much the dining plan will cost me to add on to my rented Disney Villa room. Thanks!

The regular dining plan costs $40 per adult, and $10.99 per child between ages 3 and 9, for 2009. For 2008, it was $37.99 per adult, $9.99 per child. Children under 3 are not on the DDP and although they eat free at buffet TS restaurants, they do not get their own CS credits or TS credits or snack credits. The dining plan will cost the same if booking through DVC. This price is for the regular dining plan (1 CS, 1 TS, 1 snack per person per day).

Remember that the member you are renting from must pre-book the plan for you. Be sure to let them know, so they can call Member Services and have it linked into your reservation. You'll pay for the plan when you check into your resort.

Member Services told me yesterday that the 2009 dining plan prices are not confirmed yet. She told me that I would have to call back to put the dining plan on any '09 reservations. I don't know if the prices just aren't in the MS computer yet, or if DVD is still negotiating, or what.

Interesting....I was thinking of booking this for Jan trip, now I'll have to wait, I guess...
