Yes, we have a resort stay.I'm assuming that you have a resort stay at that time? I have a Park Res for that day, but didn't get one.

Coming in suuuuper late to say I need this embroidered on a sampler.Cherries don't need an extra cherry.
So just to make sure I understand correctly, if my kids’ pass expires on 8/1, I can renew on 8/30 and it will be good until 8/29 of the next year?Missed that sale, wow. We are planning for 2 weeks in May, so I will need it. Sounds like waiting for June 1st (renewal date is 5-4) would be optimal, then it would activate in May, just under the 365 days. Thanks!
Congrats! Anybody know is this is happening at DLR or only WDW?
A renewed pass keeps the same anniversary date regardless if you renew it 60 days in advance or 30 days past expiration. So just to make sure I understand correctly, if my kids’ pass expires on 8/1, I can renew on 8/30 and it will be good until 8/29 of the next year?
Or is it retroactive to 8/1 when I renew?![]()
On that fact pattern, if I understand everything correctly, a renewal would be retroactive to 8/1. But, if you're not planning any trips between 8/1/27 and 8/30/27, that could still be the cheaper move.So just to make sure I understand correctly, if my kids’ pass expires on 8/1, I can renew on 8/30 and it will be good until 8/29 of the next year?

I read it as you did but then decided she probably meant get a new AP before the price goes up as she seemed to be responding to @airjay75 .Thanks @PolyRob and @airjay75 — that was my understanding as well— the reason I asked is that, if I’m reading her post right, @DVC Gma seemed to think that she could wait to renew until June and it would allow her to use it the following May for 2 weeks…which, if her renewal date is 5-4 wouldn’t work…but as I read it again maybe she was just planning not to renew and get a new AP in June?
I think that's right, but probably worth reiterating for @DVC Gma. If your current AP expired on 5/4, you would have until 6/4 to renew. But, if you have a trip planed for dates after 5/4/27, you don't want to renew, you want to buy a new AP which will then have 12 months to be activated. And, personally, I'd wait until the end of summer to see if they repeat the Disney gift card deal they had last year. Thanks @PolyRob and @airjay75 — that was my understanding as well— the reason I asked is that, if I’m reading her post right, @DVC Gma seemed to think that she could wait to renew until June and it would allow her to use it the following May for 2 weeks…which, if her renewal date is 5-4 wouldn’t work…but as I read it again maybe she was just planning not to renew and get a new AP in June?
Definitely report back!!!An exciting bit of news regarding my upcoming middle of May BLT stay.
One of my favorite rides is Soarin'. Last month it was announced that the ride would be closed to make preparations for the updated Across America. Super bummed.
But then I received this little gem in my email today!

i'm trying to do one party here in May at MK, looking forward to it.Oh man, after doing an After Hours at MK last year, I will personally always incorporate one into the trip if it’s on offer!
I managed to get tickets eventually using a VPN! The MDE still kept sending me to the UK site though!MNSSHP tickets acquired! Doing 2 parties this time since we have a longer trip! I don't want to wish away the summer but....Come on September!

Yes only some of the event are eligible for a DVC discount. I believe its dates on or before Oct 2nd.
Ok, cool! That's a shame but understandable - thanks for letting me knowYes only some of the event are eligible for a DVC discount. I believe its dates on or before Oct 2nd.
I think the value never expires, so you get to apply what you paid to a new ticket but would pay the difference if the new one has increasedBtw I have a voucher for a new pass. The expiration for the voucher is sept 30th 2026. I dont expect to be able to activate it before then.
What will happen after sep 30th? will I have an expired voucher which I can exchange to a new voucher, assuming the pricing hasn't changed otherwise I would need to pay the difference?
thanks, that was what I expected.I think the value never expires, so you get to apply what you paid to a new ticket but would pay the difference if the new one has increased
luckily you have your 10 days to get-out-of-jail for-free card.I had a dream last night about DVC!
DH and I bought points at CFW from a new guide. I was running around in a panic screaming “What did we do? I would never buy CFW for SAP!” I was trying to figure out how we could contact our guide to get out of it without making him mad at us!![]()
