DVC Cancels Member Golf Tourney

I think some members are missing the point of this thread! That being said HELLO OKW was built around a golf course and ALOT of members joined OKW because of that, so to have a function that involves golf does not seem to be waste of resources or dues. Maybe we should take a poll and see how many people joined OKW because of their fabulous or not so fabulous tennis courts! My wife loves archery should they have an archery tournament probably NOT! But if they did fine! If I didn't have kids I could probably say that they shouldn't be wasting resources and dues at Hank's for activities for kids! See where this is going, where would it end! It wouldn't and why BECAUSE I'M A MEMBER AND I PAY DUES! That kind of mentality is very scary! Everyone just remember GOD didn't make everyone happy so I don't think DVC or WDW has much of a chance! OR DO THEY? Fifteen days and I'm going home golf tournament or not! YEE HAH

GOOD POINT! Do they honestly think we're going to believe that story? It just doesn't make sense. I am still waiting to hear a response from DVC. Thanks for the posts from the people who understand my reason for posting this in the first place.
