DVC called me to schedule 30 minute meeting?

I did a quick search and didn't see anything about this for existing DVC members.

We check into BWV tomorrow and we're DVC members. So yesterday, I get a call that says "Disney Vacation Club", but when I answered it disconnected. I called back hoping they weren't trying to move us from our existing stay and was told they were calling to set up a 30 minute meeting about DVC and some benefits, etc. They told me I could schedule it when I check in tomorrow.

Anyone get this call? What's it about? I'm aware of the ones for gift cards for non DVC members, but any idea what this one might be?

I mean, if they're going to give me a gift card as a current DVC member to listen to new benefits (I'm guessing it's maybe about going direct, as I'm a resale owner) then I'm game. But just surprised me and they didn't mention anything about gift card anyway.

Sounds like the 30 minute Welcome Home updates they are doing. From what I understand that review the new resorts and give out a sling bag.

I am here now and didn’t get a call, but was asked by the CM at the DVC booth at VGF.

As above it is the welcome home update. They were giving out back packs when we were there I did not attend so I can say what the backpack exactly is. But if you had to move and needed an extra bag..... couldn't resist....
