DVC booking help

Hi All

We will be going home for the first time next OCT 08 and need some help with booking.

We have banked our points from this year and we will need our points from next year and borrow some from the following year.

We will be able to book in Dec of this year but won't have enough points available to book the full 2 weeks.

My question is do we just book the days we can and wait till our other points are given next year and call to book the rest of the week????? or what

You can borrow the points from the year after when you make the booking. You should be fine. If you tell the CM the dates you want to stay they will probably tell you that you need to borrow points, and even how many. They are very helpful.

When is your use year?

It's your use year date and the dates you want to stay that are relevant, not the date you ring to make the reservation.

So, as an example, say:
your use year is March
you want to make ressies for Oct 08 - so the resevation falls into your use year March 08 / Feb 09

you can phone 11 months out for your home resort, so you call in Dec 07 (i.e. before you have your 2008 points - you won't get them until March)

you would be able to book using:
any banked 2007 points
any 2008 points
any borrowed 2009 points
