DVC AP Discount....

First time purchasing DVC AP for our first ever DVC stay. We are wondering if we are missing something? On top of the DVC discounted price, is there any way of getting a further discount? Just wondering....

There were referral cards issued to current AP holders for an additional 10% off an Annual Pass purchase. But those expire 7/31/09, so it won't work for your trip.

Is there any way to get a DVC AP with a previous unused one day pass before you get to Disney? We are going down in August and staying at a resort paying for the Friday and Saturday and would like to get an AP rate but will be taking ME Friday night to hotel and picking car up on Saturday. Anyone know of any way to get the DVC discount and the pass deducted from the cost?

Hi all, looking for some AP direction!
We are leaving on Friday for our first trip as DVC members, staying on DP's at Saratoga Springs.
We have not purchased our AP's yet, but planned on doing so when we get there. What do I need to do to get the 10% off that I have been reading about, or is that 10% simply the discount that you recieve for being a DVC member?
Also, this is off topic, but does anyone know if you can use the ME to go one way? My husband is leaving a few days before the kids and I, and I wasn't sure if he could take the ME back to the airport, as we will be using a car service initially when we arrive, as well as to take the boys and I back on our last day.

No can't be done before you arrive, if you want to apply an unused ticket towards AP purchase it has to be done onsite.


Are you sure there is an AP discount rate available for resort you are staying in on Friday & Saturday nights ? DVC members can sometimes get 25% member discount on cash reservations at BWV, VWL, AKV, BCV, OKW & SSR -
you'd need to call MS to find out if it is available for your dates and book it through them.

Here is a link to a thread with people who have the referral cards. Maybe you can find someone who lives near you OR who lives near WDW. The DVC AP price is $100 off the regular price of an AP. If you can locate any of the referral cards, you can get an additional 10% off.

Yes, your DH can use ME one way. I did this with my DMIL a few years ago. I made arrangements for her when we checked in. Not a problem.
