Can we apply unused park hopper days to the purchase of a DVC discounted AP?

I don't see why not. WDW allows old ticket media to be used toward upgrades--I can't see them altering that philosophy just for DVC members.

I just asked the same question on the Theme Park board. The answer was "yes".

Yes you can however you get the price paid back when and not the current value of the days left.
