DVC Annual Pass Info Requested

Hi

I wonder if you could help. We are planning 2 WDW trips within one calendar year:- October 2005 for 17 nights and July 2006 - 14 nights.

We have made our plans like this in order to utilise a premium annual pass.

We have noticed the great discounts which are going to be available to DVC members which is fantastic.

How do we go about ordering the Premium Annual Pass.

Do you:-

Pre-book them and they are valid from one year from the first day of use?
Are they valid from the first day you purchase them?
Do we have to wait until we arrive at WDW and purchase them?
Where do you purchase them from?

They will be good for one year from the date of first use. You can order them thru MS or they may purchased at any Theme Park. Make sure you have your blue DVC membership card. The DVC discount is $125 off the regular purchase price of the PAP.

Sounds like you'll get great use out the pass!

Do you think that if you purchase AP's w/ DVC discount, we can wait until Jan. 2007 to activate them?

I was wondering if we would be able to get the same DVC discount at Shades of Green for the annual passes. We have a military id card, which saves us mainly the tax on the purchase, I believe. On top of the DVC discount, this would be a good deal if it was offered. Every little bit helps.

I don't think you can stack the discounts. Either you get the DVC discount or the military discount.

I agree. Have not heard of Disney allowing anyone to apply more than one discount to a single purchase. You will have to choose.
