DVC and MDE

I apologise if this has been asked before, but I have been a bit out of the loop lately.
I have recently downloaded the MDE app for my iPhone and created my account. I notice on the 'about me' section that I do not automatically show up as a DVC member as I apparently should. It says on my profile, that if I am not automatically showing up as a DVC member I should change the email address on my DVC member website profile to match the email address registered with MDE. The email addresses already match.
Any ideas what I should do to ensure that my DVC membership appears on my MDE profile?

I'm looking at my profile on the app and I don't have a DVC member designation. I use the same e-mail for both.

Neither does mine. Not sure I would worry, I have read that you need you DVC card for proof anyway. So no real need for it yo show on MDE I guess.

There is a known software issue. I asked MS if I should try to have it fixed and they suggested that I wait until later in the year and maybe Disney will have a fix. Their concern was that I could make things worse not better.

When I go to "My Profile" then click on "About Me" it shows my affiliation at the bottom of that "About Me" page.

Now what I do find interesting is that I bought my AP in Sept but it says it expires in June??!!

When I asked MS about this back in January or February they told me that the DVC Member affiliation does not show up on the app but does show up if you log into MDE on your computer. I checked this out and it was in fact true. They could not tell me why at the time. I hope that it will be changed soon as I much prefer to use the app than the computer.

I have had the MDE account now for three trips dating back to last year. My profile on the MDE account shows I am a DVC memebr when on a computer, but does not show it on the mobile app. I never thought there was anything wrong except that, as often happens, a mobile app does not always have the same things as shown on the website on a computer. That it is currently not shown in the mobile app has no impact on anything.

I am just happy the mobile MDE app usually (but not always) works on my iPhone and iPad; I would be happeier if I could ever get the damn DVC member site to work on one of those with Safari, or even on Safari on my Mac.

We are DVC members and stayed at VWL recently and got our Magic Bands on arrival.

We went to the top of the world bar and they scanned DH's magic band and said it did not sure any DVC membership so they asked where we owned and looked up some different info and it was all sorted. They said we need to talk to concierge at the hotel to make sure it's on our MDE account.

We spoke to concierge and she said it was there and it showed that we had purchased an annual pass using the DVC special offer so she didn't see an issue. It may have been connected to the MDE problems I guess.

Just to add I cannot see DVC member info on the app but can see it on my computer.
