Disney+ launches tomorrow in most of Europe. I have prepurchased an annual subscription bit my Disney+ and DVC merged automatically because I've used the same email.
I do not want to give the rest of the family my password, because there is single sign on with the DVC website and I do not want the slightest chance of Someone messing with my reservations.
So I'm asking the Disney+ veterans: is it possibile to separate the accounts?

Only if you sign up with a different email address.

When it launched in the US, there were widespread reports of improper log-ins to D+ accounts. Publicly Disney claimed there was no server hack, that it was mostly a case of people re-using the same email and password as they had on other hacked sites. Some feel this was part of the reason Disney added the email security notice sent with each account log-in.

You could try contacting D+ support to see if they'll move your account to a different email. Or log in for each of your family members. We use it most on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) and have never been asked to login after the first time.

I don't think so. Disney has historically used the single sign in info for all of its websites. My DVC, Disney Experience, D23 and Disney + accounts are all integrated.

I don’t think you can. Just log in your kids or whoever else will be on there. That way they won’t have your info

It took me months to get my accounts separated, and my regular (DVC) account is still kind of messed up with its email addresses.

What I had to do was get on the phone with Disney+, set up a new account with a new email address, but stop before entering payment info. Then the phone agent was able to do something to enable that account for 30 day free trial, and meanwhile submitted a request to their back-end support to transfer my already-paid 3-year subscription from the DVC-linked account to the new account

When I went to login into my Disney+ account I got a wrong password error, so I have changed it and now the two have a different password.
That's strange, because now my DVC account has the password that I originally set when I registered for Disney+. They were synchronized at some point but it doesn't work anymore. Not sure if they implemented a separation for the European accounts in the last few weeks or what else is happening.
