DVC and AP options

I am wondering (and hoping) if DVC members get a discount on Disneyland APs too? Ours expire in October and of course, we are thinking of popping down to So Cal after our DD's soccer tourney in Vegas for a few days.

Also, do DVC members get a discount on that mega AP that's good for both WDW and DL?

What's the "15th month" AP deal? My thinking is if we got the mega AP we'd use it for DL in Nov 2010 and then Dec 2011. Am I up in the night?

I think the DL AP discount is something like $20 off - any discount is nice, but it isn't as great as the WDW discount.

There is no DVC discount on the Premier Pass that is good at WDW and DL.

As for the 15-month deal, I think it is only good for WDW, expires at the end of August and must be done in person.

With the recent AP price increases, the Premier AP at $722.75 (incl tax) is actually cheaper than the buying Deluxe DL AP with DVC discount ($309) plus a AP with DVC discount at WDW ($424.94). In addition, the Premier has the benefits of the Premium AP at both WDW and DL, which makes it an even better deal.

Of course, with the Premier the AP expires in both California and Florida at the same time, so it does not work for everyone. -- Suzanne

Thank you. It would be senseless for me to buy the Premier pass now then. I suppose I could renew my DL AP but really am not sure we'll go back after this November since we'll be going to WDW next Dec. Of course I never thought I'd go to Disney as much as we have over the past 18 months.




Is it true you can use WDW hoppers at DL? I know you cannot use DL hoppers at WDW. If that's the case, it might be worth it to buy 8 day, no expiration WDW hoppers and use 2 of the days in Disneyland this November and the rest at WDW next December.
