Has anyone bought the 7 day ticket for price of 5 days and converted to PAP? Did the CM bridge the ticket to gate cost? My DH and DS need new PAP's for our Nov. trip and I'm wondering if I should buy the 7 day pass and convert them.
Most likely you would only receive credit for the actual amount that you paid for the ticket. Tickets purchased direct from Disney (excluding package tickets) are not eligible to be price bridged.

Per Backside of Magic podcasts in the last couple of months, seems practice of bridging discount tickets is dying out. By default, most tickets aren't bridged any more but people have been able to ask and still receive it. Seems pretty YMMV.

The only tickets Disney does not price brigde are ones purchased directly from Disney (excluding package tickets). Tickets purchased from 3rd parties (like undercover tourist) and package tickets are still eligible to be price bridged.

i edited my post but still wasn't clear, my fault. i meant to say that in past it was pretty easy to buy discount tickets and bridge them at ticket face value to save money and that you can still bridge them however getting the extra savings/discounts is getting harder and requires supervisor approval now.
