Hi, I just pmd you about this..It is an AWESOME IDEA!! We have gone to WDW for last 2 years at the beginning of December and dragged our own decorations down with us.....thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Does anyone know how much it would cost to ship the trees back to original owners? I want to make sure I leave enough money for shipping. How much does everyone leave?

antree its hard to say, depends were the tree will be mailed to and which shipping company is used and it depends on how many families are on YOUR tree list. If you have 5 families, and the tree is one of the smaller trees, i would think at least $6 or $7 per family. Last year it cost me $12 to ship my tree down to the resort and $18 to ship it home.

The last family on the list can mail the tree owner the left over funds
( the donations from the families on the tree list) to cover the shipping down to the resort.

Dustball I didnt receive your pm, but i did add you to the AKL Tree #4 and keep in mind you are the last family on the list, you will have to use the donations to ship the tree back to the owner. let me know if this will work out for you.

Thanks but I will not get my hopes up because there are others in front of me for the same dates. I just wanted to Thank You for orginizing this year after year. It is getting to be pretty HUGE! The first year we participated was the first year SSR was open. We have been fortunate enough to participate 2 different years and it is always extra magical to have a tree in your home during the holidays.

We are now starting the month of Sept. and we are stilling looking for a few more families to donate trees. We also have available dates on a few tree lists.
