DVC 25th Animal Kingdom Safari Spectacular

Very disappointed in not being able to attend the DVC Safari Spectacular later this month. I'm curious when an event is sold out, is there any chance of limited availability as the dates get closer? These events don't seem to be open within the 11 month/7 month windows when making reservations at your home resort or the other resorts. Changing your reservation has become more difficult as DVC membership has grown significantly over the past several years.

Sorry you didn't get a spot for the dates you wanted. I did hear stories of people getting last minute spots to the Typhoon Lagoon party as others cancelled last minute. I would call MS at least once a week before your arrival and then once you get there to see if any spots open up. Just like wait list, anything can happen up to the last minute.

The event was announced in January and booking began in July. There was plenty of notice for all of those that wanted to book.
