during the week of grad nights is the bdwk extra crowded!!??

We will be in wdw from 4-28 thru 5-12, we'll be staying at the BWV for most of the vacation (4-29 thru 5-9) this is the week of grad nights, so there's lots of tennagers in wdw. Does this effect how crowded the BW is at night???
Was anybody staying at the BWV last year during grad night week, who can give me some insight??!

The first week of May was my regular vacation time for many years. I never felt that Grad Nite had any noticeable effect. Some schools come from a distance and spend a night or two at WDW but the large majority of schools come by bus just for the event. They go to the MK for the Grad Nite and then they go home. Grad Nite takes place after the park would be closed anyway so there isn't much an imposition on guests. You probably won't even see them. At this time of the year they also run a music program that brings in groups of h.s. and junior high kids. You seem them in the parks and even performing in the parks but they don't contribute to excessive crowds. It is not that crowded in early May that the extra groups have a negative impact.

We were there last year 4/28 - 5/12...several grad nights took place and we even really knew the event was taking place. We stayed at the BW for the second half of our trip, and we didn't notice any increased activity.

We did have dinner at Narcoosees at GF one evening prior to grad night and we saw TONS of buses streaming into the MK..but the park had already closed for the evening for the event and by the morning all the buses and kids were long gone.
