My mom is going to be in Orlando in a couple of months. It's not for a WDW trip. However, she has always wanted to see Animal Kingdom Lodge and was hoping to have dinner there one night of her stay. She wants to know if she can make a reservation at Boma even though she will not technically be a guest of WDW. I told her that I was pretty sure she could but wanted to check with the DIS experts first. I've never tried to make an ADR outside of a WDW trip...is it possible???

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Thank you so much! That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure. :)

My aunt and uncle have lived in the Orlando area for years, and often go to the different Disney resorts and make ADRs to dine at the various resort restaurants, without visiting the parks or staying there.

Anybody, Disney guest or not, can make a reservation at any Disney restaurant within 180 days. (To attend a restaurant in a theme park, they must have valid park admission, but anyone can go eat at the resorts. Locals do it quite often.)
