I have seen references to "silver" and "gold" plans and I have no idea what that is. I did a search using "silver plan" but no one thread jumped out at me and I thought I might as well just post the question.

Also, is there some package called "Wishes" or when I see that mentioned are they only referring to the fireworks show.

Thank you for your info!

I believe those are parts of the Dreammaker package. The Silver, Gold, etc refers to the "levels" of extras. You could get the Dreammaker package and then add theoptional gold plan, the silver plan . . . whatever you wanted to pay for. You get so many "wishes" which you trade for something. . . dinners, extra activities, etc.

It seems a LOT of people really got their money's worth using those wishes on some really great dinners.

No, you do not have to use a travel agent, but many people do use one for the ease of having someone else to take care of booking.

Disney World's website has downloadable brochures that explain the Dreammaker and then the silver, gold and platinum addon features. Go to tickets/reservations from the home page and you will see links on the left to 2004 or 2005 packages - just go from there.

A dreammaker package includes universal hopper tickets and your room (as well as a few other items and perks). A silver plan (for adults would be $68 per person/per night addon to the price) gives 2 wishes per person/ per night. The wishes can be used for a variety of recreation, meals and merchandise. The gold package includes all of your meals and a lot of other things like recreation and spa services. The platinum package is basically everything under the sun is included and it costs BIG BUCKS!!!

Anyways, that is obviously a quick/brief summary and just glosses the surface of the packages.

Thank you, Natalie! I am thinking that maybe it would not really benefit me..we are already seasonal pass holders...plus we get 20% off of dining and drinks thanks to the Disney Dining Experience card. Also, as FL res we get pretty good deals on rooms. I will still check it out cuz I like to be knowlegeable on ALL THINGS DISNEY!

No problem....especially for a LOTW (from one to another!!!)
