Dumb Question: anyone know where to buy the fluid that goes in a creme brulee torch?

Is it lighter fluid or something? I am attempting to make creme brulee for Valentines Day, but I am confused!

I wouldn't use lighter fluid...

Go to Williams Sonoma they should have what you need

I looked for another one online that claims to use butane fuel, does it say on the box? Or do you know which kind it is? You could do a search for it on the internet and find out what it will take.

Mine takes butane.

You can definitely get what you need at a gourmet kitchen shop like Williams Sonoma. Somewhere like Bed Bath and Beyond might have it, too.
