Dumb gift card question

My sons school just joined the scrip program. We can buy Disney gift cards and I was thinking that I would buy them and use them to pay off my package. This way the school would make a percentage off my vacation! Just trying to verify I can do this before I order a bunch of gift cards.

I would call the CRO and double check that they accept them, before you buy. Good luck!

If they are actually Disney Gift cards that you can use at Disney stores then yes you can. If they have a Visa logo you can too.

But you really need to call Disney to be 100% sure.

I'm 100% sure they can be used in-person at all of the theme parks, water parks, WDW owned-and-operated resorts, and many of the shops/restaurants at Downtown Disney. So you could at least buy for your spending money needs. You can even use them to set up a room charge account (instead of a credit card, debit card, cash, etc.).

But I can't advise you on whether or not they can be used over the phone or website to pay your package by 45 days before arrival. Sorry.
