Does the charge have to be on the card until next payment due date to get credit for the rewards? (i.e. I charge $150 today for something & then go on lline & may a $150 mpaymen to the card later that day--will the credit fo rthe $150 charge go into my rewards balance or no b/c I made payment to ffset it? Ia've red the rewards info & just not sure..thanks Deb

Deb, I have always paid my card by the end of the week and have ALWAYS earned my Disney dollars. I am sure that it would hold true if you paid them by the end of the day as well. Good Luck!

Your rewards will be credited at the end of each billing cycle.

It doesn't matter if you make payments or not.

Hope that helps!

OP, I do this all the time. Just last week I was about to use my debit card to pay my auto insurance, and instead, charged it with my Disney visa and then made an immediate payment of the same amount. Either way, it comes out of my debit account, but I made $6 rewards dollars for doing one extra step!

Op - I'm not sure I understand what you're asking & it seems like you're getting answers to different questions on here! Are you asking if you pay off your balance early, do you earn the rewards points early too?

Also keep in mind you will only earn 1 reward dollar if $150 is all you spend. It is done at the end of the billing cycle an you get $1 per 100. So if you spend $150 at the end of the billing cycle you will earn 1. The $50 won't carry to the next billing cycle.

I use the Chase Disney Debit Card and the points rack up every month even though there is no balance.

Your points will accrue even if you pay off the charge the same day. They will not post to the account until the monthly statement is run though. Whe you paid the bill has no influence on when your points will post.

Wait, really? That's quite strange. One more reason to pick a card with a better reward system.

just a minor note...generally you cannot make the payment the same day you used the card. you need to wait for the charge to appear on your account so you actually have a balance to pay. like I said minor clarification, but generally you cannot make a payment greater than your balance and pending charges are not part of your balance due.

but to the OP...doesn't matter when you make the payment (unless of course you default ;)) you get the points.
