Dumb dining ?: # days vs. nights?

I am not sure how to figure out how many meals we actually get. Do we get snack, CS and TS credits for both check in and check out days? That is, meals for 7 days rather the 6 nights we will actually be there? If so, since we are probably arriving late on night one and I guess that would give us a whole extra day's worth of TS to think about - a disadvantage because we don't like waste but YES that means we'll get at least one signature restaurant meal with those extra TS credits! Thanks!

It goes by the number of nights. I think they assume that your first and last days will be partial days with travel.
