After the past year of higher fares, anything under $180 is a blessing now. With flyI now, competition has returned to Dulles. I find flexibility to be the key. sometimes by checking the day prior may make a huge difference in fare and worth leaving the evening before and paying for a cheap room. I didn't wait for my october fare and bought in July and paid $176rt. Though they are cheaper now, the times I wanted just was not available. I recently booked my january trip (15-22) and got it for $146. I recently checked those times and both flights are now sold out. Good luck--I did see that Indenpendence is going to be introducing larger planes soon Airbus 319.
