Dues payment confirmation...?

I was a good little DVCer today and paid my dues on-line. It was actually very easy and the confirmation showed up in my in-box right away.

However, I find the confirmation rather strange. There is no information about my account #, amount paid, etc. It simply says thank-you. How can this be used as confirmation?:confused3

That's the entire e-mail confirmation. I guess I was hoping for something worth printing and putting in the records. I've done quite a bit of on-line shopping and bill paying and have never come across a confirmation that is so vague. I just find it strange.
 
You can go online and print out an entire paper statement with all the details on it.

This is good to know, but it sure would be a heck of alot easier to have something in the confirmation e-mail.
 
I agree. I made our payment like that on Sunday and that is exactly the confirmation that I received too. But the charge is on my CC, so that seems to be a good confirmation too.

I paid mine online, too. No email. Just the satisfaction of knowing they're paid. I did print a hard copy with confirmation number before leaving the member web site.
 
I got the same e-mail. looked a little "unofficial". But I guess it was better than nothing.
 
I got that e-mail too...twice in fact since I have two contracts. I thought it was odd too. My guess is that it was a glitch in the automated e-mail programming.

As others have stated, I'm not worried about it. I can see the charges on my on-line credit card statement and My DVC on-line shows the dues as paid. But it was strange. :confused3
