Does anyone know if the Wonder still has the Dueling Pianos club or was that converted when the ship was in drydock?'

Leaving in 10 days!!!!

Dueling Pianos was not there when I sailed on the Wonder in February. We always enjoyed it on the Magic - I was sorry to see it go but it is now gone from both ships.

Sadly, it's gone from both ships in favor of a combo sports-bar/pub. Don't get me wrong, I liked Diversions, but missed the dueling piano bar. Having late seating dinner gave us the opportunity to hit the family sing along after the show and the kids loved it. :confused3

That's what I thought. What was it replaced with? The same kind of club as on the Magic -- an all purpose sports/bar pub (description courtesy of The Passporter Field Guide.)

I am a huge fan of deuling pianos and those two on the Wonder were terrible awful bad. We went every night and they played the same exact songs and told the same 4 jokes and never strayed. The very second the clock struck 9 they were DONE. They were not into it at all, it was just a job and it showed. The songs they did sounded good but after the third night of the exact same thing it got old. And the one guy (without mentioning names in case he works elsewhere on the ship) when asked for an encore by the entire crowd would actually stand up almost disgusted when he was done and get out the room as quickly as possible. I think he hated his job. Apparanlty one hour was too much for him. Not very DISNEY-ESQUE !!!! SEE YA BYE!

When we went a few years ago, there were two really funny guys on the Wonder. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves, and they did a pretty good amount of different stuff. When we went last year, the guys just didn't seem as fun.

Plus, on both cruises, there were never more than about a dozen people there for the 'late' show. Kinda hard to get that fun, rollicking "Howl At The Moon"-y atmosphere with nine people in the audience.

I'll miss it, but in the same way I'll miss Hercules. It was cool, but let's see what new fun thing they can invent.

I would LOVE to see them bring it back.... as long as they get quality professionals. We got up and played the piano and sang when they were done since they wouldn't HEAR OF PLAYING an encore at 8:59 pm!
