Due to Economy - More Deals to Come?

I'd love to take advantage of the 7 days for 4 deal, but I dont think I can make it due to the 45 day thing and my cash flow at the time.

Does anyone think that with the world's economy down that Disney will offer more deals in the future?

I have to imagine this deal is bringing people into WDW.

I dont usually follow these things, so I was just wondering. I know some here have followed this stuff.

I just got a 40% off PIN for end of August -Oct,end of Nov and mid Dec, 2009

I think this was a Canadian one.

They have deals even when the economy is good. So I would expect deals, and possibly more than usual, if the economy remains as it is.

I dont see things getting better anytime soon. And they have all those rooms to fill. Yes, my prediction (for what it's worth) is that there will be more deals down the road.

The 4/3 deal did not fill up all the rooms. Not everyone wants to go for 7 days. My prediction is for lowered room prices or tickets, though, not free dining. That would pull people in and then they'd have to spend some more money once there. Just a guess here, though.

what i do to get around the 45 day rule is:
book my stay with 1 day base tickets. you can upgrade them when you get there.
also, call and add dining closer to your travel dates if you want it...at least 72 hrs before you go.

i don't see any need to let disney hold onto $1000 of my dollars any sooner than i have to!

I hope they have something else for Jan/Feb.
My work schedule simply makes it impossible for me to go for more than four nights and I'd love to go this winter.
I'd take anything - ticket upgrade, buy two nights, get one, I'm not picky - really, any deal (other than 4/3) would do!

When I cost out a family of four (2A 2C) with the 4/3 offer, I do not find it to be any better than a regular stay with free dining. Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong, but the 4/3 sounds like a good deal, but it just doesn't work for us. I hope that speculation is correct about more offers. The 40% off Canadian code is great, too bad I live in Alabama.

Tonight we were looking at pictures of past trips and really want to book another one, but it will have to be a VERY tempting offer before we can visit WDW again.

If you're heading down in May, you should be able to get the 4/3 deal then.

I'm hoping there will be a room only deal for end of April through first weekend of May. I'll only be at WDW for 4 nights so I can't do the 4/3 deal.

I've already got my room booked using the AAA discount but I'd love to get a better discount.

I tried to book a late June package buy 4 get three and the website is telling me that there are no rooms available. I changed my dates to begining of June and same answer. Changed my dates to May and same response that there are no rooms available. Either they only had so many of those offers opened or something is wrong with the website right now?

Oh I hope this is not so. I have something booked but still haven't sold myself on this resort and expense and was hoping to make a final decision this weekend.

There have been discussions on these boards that the reservations system is getting an upgrade. That may be why you don't see any availability.
