I’m currently in ROFR for my first contract. It is my understanding that dues are paid in full in December. Is that correct?

The bill for dues the following year come in December. However, you pay in January and no late charges apply until February.

The 2021 dues associated with the contract you are buying have to be paid in full before you close…whether by the seller or by ypu as the buyer in reimbursing the seller,

There is a certain point in December that DVC requires the following years dues to be paid as part of the sale.

I believe they're due in Jan but payable until mid Feb. BTW, you can have money deducted monthly or pay with Disney GCs. I do the latter and look for deals or special offers during the year to save some money.

Once you close, you will receive a prorated dues bill for the rest of this year. We closed on a small contract for BWV and recited a bill for $70 approx.

Okay, thank you. Seller is paying 2021 dues. So I’ll start getting gift cards to pay for 2022 dues in January.

There is a thread in the Budget Board that posts general gift card deals but also Disney Gift Card Deals so check that out. Easy ways to save would be use a Target CC to buy Disney GCs at 5% off or buy at Costco or Sams. They also discount their DGCs. Some groceries give fuel points for gift cards and even increase the points to 4x occasionally.

Our Costco here in CNY does not sell Disney. So sad for me!
