DTD Restaurant Suggestions Please

Hi everyone,

We will be attending Cirque one evening and are looking for dining suggestions. I was hoping for a DTD restaurant and shopping before Cirque but if we are missing something special we would consider somewhere else.

We have been to RK and Earl of Sandwich in DTD. We do not eat fish.

We have ressies other days for O'Hana's, Boma's Mama Melrose, Sci Fi, Chef Mickey, Donald's, and LeCleir.

If you like Italian- try Portofinos. The House of Blues is directly across from the Cirque and the food there is good. I would stay away from Planet Hollywood unless you've never been to one before- its worth it to see the decor. Bongos is good if you like Cuban style food- and Wolfgang Pucks is good if you want to try trendy type dishes- Stay away from Fulton's crab house if you dont want seafood- OH- there is a new Irish Pub opening up in PI- try it if its open and then let us know if you liked it!!

DH & I really like the Portabella Yacht Club in DTD. It is right by Fulton's.

My family loves Wolfgang Pucks. They make a great bolonese and alfredo sauce, great sushi, great desserts. The steak and seafood are excellent and the meatloaf is to die for.

If you want more ritzi - try WP Upstairs.

Fultons Crab House for seafood or Portebello Yacht Club for Italian-both are good. I wouldnt suggest Planet Hollywood pr Captain Jacks either.

another vote NOT to waste your time/money on capt jack/planet hollywood.

Another vote for House of Blues. It's so good I find it difficult to consider eating elsewhere in DTD. Portofino's is also good and more refined. Haven't tried Puck's yet. It's hard because it's right next to HOB!

We don't like seafood or fish so Fultons is out for us. We are already eating at Mama Melrose (family favorite) so I'm not sure about a 2nd Italian restaurant. Hmmm, I'm not sure yet what we are going to do yet. Thanks for the suggestions though.

We both love Portobello Yacht Club. The entrees are expensive but everything is delicious!
