DTD Rainforest Cafe - Outside Seating along the Water? And other questions...

Hi, everyone!

I'm trying to decide on our DTD restaurant. Usually, we have lunch at EoS. However, for our upcoming trip, we'll be there for dinner.

We have the DxDP, &, at first, I was planning on Raglan Road. But, we'll be there on a Sunday, so no entertainment. Plus, I'm not sure how our kids will like it.

I'd like to try T-Rex, but I'm afraid that our younger DS will be afraid - unless we could get seated in a more quiet section of the restaurant.

So, I started considering Rainforest.

When I look at some pics, it looks like there are some tables in a porch-like area by the water. Is that correct?

We've never eaten at a RF Cafe, & I think the kids will like it. (I know we'd have to pay OOP, & I know we'd be paying more for the "experience" than the food...)

Is Rainforest as loud as T-Rex?

There are some outside tables that overlook the docking area of the boats that run from the DVC resorts and POR/POFQ. We have never sat out there, but you could probably request it.

yes there is outdoor seating. I wouldn't rec it. There are bugs and there is no a/c. I was pretty surprised that it was that bad actually. Normally places take some precautions to keep the bugs away and try to keep it semi-cool but not there.
