DTD-Port Orleans?

We had the pleasure of visiting New Orleans last year (for DD National Gymnastic competition) and loved eatting the signature beignats (sp?)....and heard that they are available at the Port Orleans food court....

Since we'll be at DTD, I was hoping to take a skip, hop and jump over to Port Orleands to get some. Is there a boat, walkway, etc. (easy and short transportation) to get to Port Orleans from DTD?

There is a boat..I think you catch it by Captain Jacks resturant. No walk way that I know of.

Thanks...is it a 'long' ride...or reasonably close to 'pop' over for an afternoon snack?

If you're at DTD, the boat dock is next to the Rainforest Cafe at Marketplace. It's a 20 minute scenic boat ride one way and POFQ is the first stop. If you have time, I would make a visit because the resort is really beautiful.

Once you dock, just walk past the pool and the main building will be right ahead of you. The food court will be on the right hand side. Get some beignets and have a seat outside and just enjoy some people watching.

I love POFQ. It's so charming and laid back.
