My daughter is in DTD right now and needing some cold medication. Is there a drug store or something similar there? If not, maybe at resort? They are staying at All Stars.
or if you are in the parks they have free OTC meds at first aids thing for headache upset tummy cream for bug bites/ stings also they have ace bandages and they can make ice packs there are other things that they have but I think this is the most of what they have
They do have Benadryl - or at least a generic of it - at Guest Services at Disney Springs. My friend and I went there to get some when our waiter at T-Rex neglected to mention the mushrooms the green beans were cooked with when my friend SPECIFICALLY asked if they were cooked with anything. She's allergic to mushrooms! Luckily she realized it before she ate enough for her reaction to get really bad, but we went to get some allergy stuff for her. (The one time I hadn't packed my kids chewable I usually carry with me in case of a peanut finding its way into my food, of course! I felt awful about that!)
I would figure that first aid in the parks would have it as well - if not guest services or in the under the counter boxes in stores.
Just an FYI if in the parks - just about any gift shop also has individual type packets of lots of medicines. They keep them in a bin under the cash register. All you need to do is ask and they will help you. It might not be the most cost efficient but it surely is great in the moment. At AK I got stung by a bee and immediately for a few dollars was able to get some Benedryl. I've picked up meds at most the parks.

For some reason my dd has gotten a headache entering AK our last few visits, we've stopped in the gift shop before the entrance to get meds.
Food allergies are taken very seriously at Disney. Next time your friend eats at Disney, make sure to have them note on the ticket about the mushroom allergy. The waiters don't know food preparation like the chef. They'll call a chef to your table to discuss what is and isn't safe to eat.
Yes, we are aware of that, and she has never has a problem at a Disney-managed restaurant. I've even experienced it when I've asked if something has peanuts - my issue is more of a sensitivity, but I don't like to test it. I'm ok with things prepared in a facility with, just not the actual thing. As soon as I ASK a question any Diensy-owned restaurant server has followed it with "Is it an allergy?"
T-Rex, however, is NOT Disney-managed. And like pretty much any non-Disney-managed restaurant, there was no follow-up.
