We are arriving in Orlando on 9/12. Our plan is to register at our offsite resort, then hit DTD for lunch at EoS, the Lego store and some Disney atmosphere until our condo is ready. We would get to DTD about noon.

I keep reading about the construction mess and parking issues. We want to do DTD, but not if it's going to be a big hassle to park and get there. We'd skip it totally and go do the grocery shopping and hang out at the pool instead.

These days, how is the parking really on a Saturday at lunch time? We can't get there earlier than 11:30ish due to our drive that day.

Things are getting better (traffic-wise) at DTD. Since its mid-September I'd guess you will do OK. Maybe not great, but do-able.

Thank you. We can handle ok but doable. Frustrating hassle after two days of driving wouldn't be worth it. :crazy2:

The traffic around DTD is not bad at all during lunch time actually. It only gets bad (not so much now) around dinner time and later in the evening when the parks close. You should have no issues when you will be here around the time you are planning on going. We drove out to he Boardwalk on Tuesday around lunch time driving right by DTD and had no issues at all.
